The Fût de Chêne MV (Multi-Vintage) series represents the pinnacle of Henri Giraud's revolutionary approach to Champagne, blending the exceptional 2012 harvest with a perpetual reserve system. Sourced entirely from the historic Grand Cru vineyards of Aÿ, this cuvée pays homage to traditional vinification by fermenting and aging in oak casks sourced from the nearby Forest of Argonne. This historic forest once provided the wood for Champagne's barrels centuries ago, a heritage Claude Giraud passionately revived. The chalky soils of Aÿ impart a profound mineral tension, while the meticulous oak integration lends a luxurious, vinous texture, characterized by notes of baked stone fruits, toasted brioche, and delicate spices.
