Henri Giraud's MV (Multi-Vintage) Grand Cru Rosé is a spectacular showcase of the house's signature vinous style, combining the power of Aÿ Grand Cru Pinot Noir with the elegance of Chardonnay. Central to its creation is the pioneering use of oak casks sourced from the historic Argonne Forest, a practice revived by Claude Giraud to restore the ancient relationship between Champagne and its local terroir. This cuvée is crafted using a perpetual reserve system, blending the base vintage with mature reserve wines, and is colored with a small addition of legendary Aÿ Grand Cru still red wine. The result is a highly structured, gastronomic rosé that transcends traditional sparkling boundaries, offering a deep copper-pink hue, complex oxidative complexity, and a rich, creamy texture that pays homage to the 17th-century winemaking roots of the Hémart family.

Based in the historic Grand Cru village of Aÿ, Champagne Henri Giraud traces its winemaking heritage back to 1625 with the Hémart family. Today, under the guidance of Claude Giraud, the house is world-renowned for its pioneering return to traditional oak vinification, utilizing barrels crafted exclusively from the nearby Argonne Forest to impart unmatched complexity and texture. This meticulous craftsmanship defines their bold, vinous style, exemplified by iconic cuvées such as Argonne and the Fût de Chêne MV.
