Highland Park, established in 1798 by Magnus Eunson—a direct descendant of Viking settlers—is famous for its deeply rooted Norse heritage and unique island terroir. The whisky's character is shaped by the distillery's hand-turned floor maltings and the use of aromatic, woodless peat cut from the nearby Hobbister Moor, which infuses the spirit with a distinct heather-honey sweetness and a whisper of gentle peat smoke.
