Crafted in the wind-swept Orkney Islands at the legendary Highland Park distillery, this exceptional 16-year-old single malt is a bespoke collaboration with the world-renowned Swedish chef Björn Frantzén. Highland Park, established in 1798 by Magnus Eunson—a direct descendant of Viking settlers—is famous for its deeply rooted Norse heritage and unique island terroir. The whisky's character is shaped by the distillery's hand-turned floor maltings and the use of aromatic, woodless peat cut from the nearby Hobbister Moor, which infuses the spirit with a distinct heather-honey sweetness and a whisper of gentle peat smoke. Aged for 16 years in sherry-seasoned oak casks, this expression, titled 'Between You And I,' represents a harmonious marriage of culinary artistry and traditional distilling, delivering complex layers of dried fruit, warm spices, and delicate maritime smoke.
