Hailing from the wind-swept Orkney Islands at one of the northernmost distilleries in the world, Highland Park's Earl Haakon 18-Year-Old is a legendary single malt whisky that pays homage to the Norse heritage of the islands. Named after the notorious 12th-century Orkney ruler Earl Haakon, who infamously ordered the martyrdom of his cousin St. Magnus, this expression captures the dramatic, rugged spirit of its homeland. Crafted using artisanal floor-matured malt dried over ancient, heather-rich Orkney peat, and matured for eighteen years in seasoned oak casks, it offers a powerful profile of rich dried fruits, warm spices, and a delicate, aromatic peat smoke that is uniquely Orcadian.

Highland Park blev grundlagt i 1798 i Kirkwall på det afsidesliggende Orkney-øhav og er et af Skotlands mest traditionsrige og nordligst beliggende single malt-destillerier.
