Hailing from the windswept Orkney Islands, Highland Park is one of Scotland's most remote and legendary distilleries, founded in 1798 by the infamous smuggler Magnus Eunson. This 'Full Cask' No 15 single malt represents the pinnacle of Orkney's unique terroir. The island's lack of trees means the local Hobbister Moor peat is composed almost entirely of decomposed heather, imparting a sweet, floral, and aromatic smoke quite unlike the medicinal peat of Islay. Aged in a traditional hogshead cask, this expression marries the distillery's signature heather-honey sweetness and gentle peat smoke with the delicate vanilla, coconut, and toasted oak notes derived from the cask wood. It is a testament to slow, traditional craftsmanship in one of the world's most extreme distilling environments.
