Highland Park's heritage is deeply intertwined with Viking history, famously founded by the smuggler Magnus Eunson in 1798. The character of this expression is defined by the unique Hobbister Moor peat, which is rich in heather and imparts a sweet, aromatic, floral smoke rather than the heavy, medicinal peat found in other Scottish regions.
