✨ Technical Specifications

To celebrate its landmark 250th anniversary in 2013, the historic house of Hine unveiled an extraordinary masterwork: the Hine 250. This ultra-rare, single-vintage Cognac dates back to the legendary 1953 harvest, a year of exceptional quality that also coincided with the coronation of Queen Elizabeth IIβ€”a poignant connection given Hine's prestigious Royal Warrant. Selected from the family's private reserve by cellar master Eric Forget and Bernard Hine, this liquid gold was sourced exclusively from the premier cru of Grande Champagne. It aged for six decades in a single cask in the damp, quiet cellars of Jarnac along the Charente River, slowly concentrating its rich, complex aromas of dried fruits, leather, and spices. To match the liquid's majesty, it was housed in an exquisite Baccarat crystal decanter designed by the iconic French designer AndrΓ©e Putman, resembling a rough-cut jewel.

🍾 About the Producer

Established in 1763 and later named in 1817 by Englishman Thomas Hine, Maison Hine is an esteemed Cognac house situated along the banks of the Charente River in Jarnac, France. Holding a distinguished Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II since 1962, the house is celebrated for its artisanal philosophy and dedicated focus on the premier terroirs of Grande and Petite Champagne. Hine is uniquely renowned for its mastery of single-vintage cognacs, including both classic Jarnac-aged releases and rare Early Landed casks matured in the damp, cool cellars of the United Kingdom. Emphasizing elegance, delicate floral aromatics, and minimal oak influence, the maison produces legendary expressions such as Antique XO Premier Cru, Triomphe, and single-harvest Bonneuil vintages.
