Sourced from the prestigious premier crus of Grande and Petite Champagne, this expression benefits from the region's signature chalky soils, which impart unparalleled finesse and longevity. Hine's signature style—focused on elegance, floral delicacy, and restrained oak influence—is fully realized here. The spirit undergoes traditional double distillation in Charentais copper pot stills before resting in fine-grained French oak casks in Hine's historic cellars along the Charente River. This slow maturation coaxes out complex notes of dried fruits, soft spices, jasmine, and the coveted rancio, making it a testament to the house's centuries-old craftsmanship.

Maison Hine blev grundlagt i 1763 og fik sit nuværende navn i 1817 af englænderen Thomas Hine. Dette traditionsrige cognachus ligger smukt ved bredden af Charente-floden i Jarnac i Frankrig. Huset har siden 1962 været kongelig hofleverandør til Dronning Elizabeth II og er berømmet for sin kompromisløse håndværksmæssige tilgang med et dedikeret fokus på de ypperste terroirs i Grande og Petite Champagne. Hine udmærker sig særligt ved sit enestående arbejde med enkeltårgangscognac – både de klassiske udgaver lagret i Jarnac og de sjældne Early Landed-fade, der modnes i Storbritanniens kølige, fugtige kældre.
