Created in 1991 by Bernard and Jacques Hine to commemorate the bicentennial of their ancestor Thomas Hine's arrival in France from Dorset in 1791, Talent de Thomas is the crown jewel of this historic house. This extraordinary spirit is a blend of exceptionally rare, antique Grande Champagne cognacs, some dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, carefully preserved in the family's private 'Paradis' cellar. The presentation is as legendary as the liquid itself: a bespoke Baccarat crystal decanter nestled inside a handcrafted humidor made of precious Macassar ebony and Honduran mahogany. Established in 1763 and later named in 1817 by Englishman Thomas Hine, Maison Hine is an esteemed Cognac house situated along the banks of the Charente River in Jarnac, France. Holding a distinguished Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II since 1962, the house is celebrated for its artisanal philosophy and dedicated focus on the premier terroirs of Grande and Petite Champagne. Hine is uniquely renowned for its mastery of single-vintage cognacs, including both classic Jarnac-aged releases and rare Early Landed casks matured in the damp, cool cellars of the United Kingdom.
