This exceptional Grand Cru cuvée comes from a prestigious parcel of Echézeaux, specifically in the climat 'Les Treux', which was generously donated to the Hospices de Beaune in 2011 by Jean-Luc Bissey. The vines, planted in the mid-20th century, thrive on the classic limestone and clay soils of the Côte de Nuits. Under the stewardship of the Hospices, this Pinot Noir undergoes meticulous vinification before being sold at the famous charity auction and aged by selected négociants. It represents a magnificent marriage of philanthropic spirit and the profound complexity of one of Burgundy's most revered Grand Cru terroirs, yielding a wine of immense depth, structural elegance, and dark fruit complexity.

Founded in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor of Burgundy, and his wife Guigone de Salins, the Hospices de Beaune is a historic charitable institution and wine estate located in Beaune, France. Over the centuries, generous donations of prestigious vineyard parcels have amassed an extraordinary 60-hectare estate, primarily consisting of Grand Cru and Premier Cru climats across the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Under the precise direction of régisseur Ludivine Griveau, the estate meticulously crafts exceptional red Pinot Noir and white Chardonnay wines, which are famously sold at the annual charity auction on the third Sunday of November.
