✨ Technical Specifications
La Chasse du Pape, created in 1952 by Gabriel Meffre, is an iconic range from the southern Rhône Valley. Produced under the Au Pavillon Saint-Pierre mark from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this red wine embodies the traditional Grenache-driven style of the region. Grown on classic galets roulés (rounded quartzite stones), limestone, and sandy soils, the vines yield rich, sun-ripened fruit. The wine undergoes traditional fermentation with controlled temperatures and short to medium maturation in neutral vats and large oak foudres to preserve generous red fruit, garrigue herb nuances, and warm spice traits.
