✨ Technical Specifications
Hailing from the historic Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, established in 1866, Gentleman Jack represents a unique expression within the 'Other' category as a premium Tennessee Whiskey. Crafted from a traditional mash bill of 80% corn, 12% barley, and 8% rye, and fermented using iron-free cave spring water, its defining characteristic is the double-mellowing process. Unlike standard Tennessee whiskeys that pass through sugar maple charcoal once, Gentleman Jack undergoes this 'Lincoln County Process' both before entering the charred white oak barrels and once again after aging. This second filtration yields an exceptionally smooth, approachable spirit with notes of caramel, vanilla, and light oak, paying homage to the legendary craftsmanship of Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel.
🍾 About the Producer
Established in 1866 by Jasper Newton 'Jack' Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, Jack Daniel's is recognized as the first registered distillery in the United States. The distillery relies on the iron-free, mineral-rich waters of Cave Spring Hollow and is defined by the traditional Lincoln County Process, in which unaged spirit is slowly mellowed through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before maturation. Now part of the Brown-Forman Corporation, the distillery maintains an uncompromising commitment to crafting authentic Tennessee whiskey. Renowned worldwide for its flagship Old No. 7, Jack Daniel's also crafts premium expressions like Gentleman Jack and its nuanced Single Barrel Collection, celebrated for their signature balance of sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and mellow caramel notes.
