✨ Technical Specifications
Crafted in the historic, atmospheric 12th-century cellars of the Chapter of Notre-Dame in Beaune, Maison Jaffelin's sparkling Rosé Brut is a vibrant testament to Burgundy's traditional-method sparkling heritage. This cuvée is produced with the same meticulous care as the region's still wines, utilizing hand-harvested grapes that undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle. The cool, subterranean limestone cellars provide the perfect ambient temperature for a slow aging process, allowing the wine to develop its signature fine bubbles, delicate salmon-pink hue, and expressive aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, and subtle toasted brioche.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1816 by brothers Charles and Henri Jaffelin, Maison Jaffelin is celebrated as the smallest among Burgundy's historic négociant houses, located in the ancient center of Beaune. The estate ages its wines in remarkable 12th-century vaulted cellars originally built by the Canons of the Collégiale Notre-Dame. Operating on an artisanal, small-batch scale, the house employs gentle, gravity-fed vinification to preserve the pure expression and distinctive character of each climats across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Jaffelin is renowned for its elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay selections, ranging from the emblematic Cuvée des Chanoines to distinguished Premier and Grand Cru bottlings, alongside fine Crémant de Bourgogne.
