The name pays homage to the 'dog'—a copper instrument historically used to draw whiskey samples directly from the casks. This Irish spirit is a masterclass in blending, harmonizing rich single pot still whiskey with delicate grain whiskey. Matured in a combination of American bourbon barrels and Spanish sherry butts, it delivers a creamy mouthfeel with notes of butterscotch, spice, and dried dark fruits, reflecting centuries of Irish distilling heritage at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
