For generations, distilleries sold their whiskey by the cask to independent bonders who bottled it themselves, often leading to inconsistent quality. Crested was the very first whiskey that Jameson bottled directly at their historic Bow Street Distillery in Dublin, reclaiming control over their liquid's destiny and quality. Classified under 'Other' as a premium blended Irish whiskey, it is crafted from a blend of rich single pot still and grain whiskeys, with a significant portion of the blend matured in high-quality sherry casks alongside traditional bourbon barrels.
