Crafted by JM Cellars, 'Tre' is a beautifully structured red blend that celebrates the art of blending three distinct varietals, typically Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from some of Washington State's most prestigious vineyards, including the estate Margaret's Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley and the acclaimed Stillwater Creek Vineyard, this wine is a testament to the diverse terroir of the Columbia Valley. The name 'Tre'—meaning 'three' in Italian—not only represents the trio of primary grapes that define its character but also pays homage to the three pillars of the winery: family, quality, and community. Winemaker John Bigelow utilizes sustainable, Salmon-Safe certified practices to cultivate fruit that delivers rich, concentrated dark fruit flavors, elegant tannins, and a touch of savory spice, resulting in a harmonious and approachable blend that captures the expressive spirit of Washington wine.

JM Cellars blev grundlagt i 1998 af John og Peggy Bigelow og regnes i dag for et toneangivende, familieejet mikrovineri med base på Bramble Bump – en skovklædt oase i Woodinville, Washington. Med kyndig vejledning fra prominente Washington-vinmagere som Mike Januik og Charlie Hoppes udviklede ægteparret Bigelow sig hurtigt fra garagister i kælderen til førende producenter af stedtypiske vine i små partier fra Pacific Northwest. Selve vineriet ligger i Woodinville og Maltby, mens familiens egne druer høstes på Margaret's Vineyard – en certificeret bæredygtig og Salmon-Safe-godkendt mark, højt beliggende i det anerkendte SeVein-projekt i Walla Walla. Ud over egne parceller opkøber JM Cellars nøje udvalgte druer fra legendariske marker i Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley og Red Mountain, heriblandt Boushey, Stillwater Creek og Quintessence. Vinifikationen varetages af John og sønnen Tommy med fokus på præcision og tekstur gennem gæring i små partier på ståltanke, betonæg og franske egetræsfade. Blandt husets ikoniske cuvéer finder man signaturrødvinen Tre Fanciulli, bordeauxsorterne fra Margaret's Vineyard samt enkeltmarksvine på Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc og Chardonnay, der alle udmærker sig ved en strålende ren frugt og struktureret elegance.
