This exceptional Scotch is a blend of whiskies sourced from eight legendary distilleries that were operating during the early days of John Walker's grocery business, founded in 1820. Among these are precious liquids from 'ghost' distilleries long closed, such as Brora, Cambus, Port Dundas, and Carsebridge, alongside surviving icons like Lagavulin, Oban, Blair Athol, and Teaninich. The result is a masterfully layered spirit that pays homage to the history of Scottish distilling, offering a nose of sweet woodsmoke, rich stone fruits, and cacao, leading to a velvety, deeply complex palate.
