The roots of Johnnie Walker trace back to 1820, when young grocer John Walker began blending single malts in his Kilmarnock shop to achieve a consistency of flavor unheard of at the time. Blue Label honors this legacy by selecting only one in ten thousand casks—including precious reserves from silent 'ghost' distilleries—to create its signature flavor profile.
