β¨ Technical Specifications
In 2014, the historic Burgundy house of Joseph Drouhin partnered with the Hospices de Belleville, an institution founded in 1710 to care for the poor and sick, which had amassed precious vineyard donations over the centuries. Managing 14 hectares of prime vines across the prestigious Crus of Fleurie, Brouilly, and Morgon, Drouhin applies its signature elegant, terroir-focused approach to these Gamay vines. The wines are crafted to highlight the distinct granitic and schist soils of Beaujolais, combining the bright, juicy red-fruit character of Gamay with the structure, precision, and refinement typical of Drouhin's Burgundian heritage. This unique collaboration preserves a charitable legacy while elevating the reputation of Cru Beaujolais.
