Domaine de Vaudon, the historic Chablis estate of Maison Joseph Drouhin, is anchored by an elegant 18th-century watermill, the Moulin de Vaudon, sitting astride the Serein River. This property represents the soul of Drouhin's presence in Chablis, where biodynamic viticulture is championed to express the pure essence of the region. The vineyards thrive on the classic Kimmeridgian limestone soils, packed with fossilized marine shells from the Jurassic era. This unique terroir imparts a signature flinty, saline minerality to the wine. Fermented and aged primarily in stainless steel vats to preserve its pristine fruit character, this Chardonnay showcases a brilliant pale gold color, vibrant citrus aromas, and a crisp, clean finish that captures the cool-climate energy of Chablis.

Founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, Maison Joseph Drouhin is a historic Burgundy wine producer based in the heart of Beaune, France. Now managed by the fourth generation of the Drouhin family, the estate spans prestigious appellations across Burgundy, including Chablis, the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Côte Chalonnaise, alongside pioneering ventures in Oregon's Dundee Hills. The maison is deeply committed to biodynamic and organic viticulture, producing elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Among their most celebrated expressions are the legendary Clos des Mouches, Marquis de Laguiche Montrachet, and the vibrant Laforêt series, all crafted to reflect the authentic purity and complexity of their origins.
