Crafted by the illustrious Maison Joseph Drouhin, 'L'Ouvree des Dames' is a Premier Cru white Burgundy that pays elegant homage to the historical role of women in the vineyards of the Côte d'Or. The term 'ouvrée' represents an ancient Burgundian land measure—the amount of vineyard a single person could work in a day. This cuvée celebrates the 'Dames' (ladies) of Burgundy's past and present, including the estate's modern matriarchs and winemakers who have preserved these sacred plots. Sourced from choice Premier Cru parcels dominated by limestone and clay soils, this 100% Chardonnay is fermented and aged in French oak barrels with precise lees stirring. The result is a wine of sublime harmony, balancing vibrant citrus and white flower aromas with a rich, mineral-driven texture and a subtle kiss of toasted brioche.

Maison Joseph Drouhin blev grundlagt i 1880 af Joseph Drouhin og er et ikonisk bourgognehus med historisk hovedsæde i hjertet af Beaune.
