✨ Technical Specifications

Domaine Drouhin Oregon, established in 1987 by the historic Burgundian family Maison Joseph Drouhin, represents a landmark bridge between the Old World and the New. The 'Cuvée Laurène' is named in honor of winemaker Véronique Drouhin's eldest daughter. Crafted entirely from estate-grown Pinot Noir in the volcanic Jory soils of the Dundee Hills AVA, this cuvée is a rigorous selection of the estate's finest vineyard blocks. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently destemmed, and fermented with wild yeasts before aging for over a year in French oak barrels. This wine beautifully marries Burgundian elegance and structure with the vibrant, red-berried fruit intensity characteristic of Oregon's terroir.

🍾 About the Producer

Founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, Maison Joseph Drouhin is an iconic Burgundian estate headquartered in the historic heart of Beaune, France. Under the continuous stewardship of the Drouhin family across four generations, the domaine has expanded its holdings across premier appellations spanning the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Chablis, and Oregon's Willamette Valley. Dedicated to certified organic and biodynamic viticulture, their winemaking philosophy prioritizes natural balance, purity, and the unadorned expression of individual terroirs. The house is globally celebrated for its benchmark Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bottlings, notably the legendary Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Mouches and Montrachet Grand Cru Marquis de Laguiche.
