Crafted from the high-elevation Art Den Hoed Vineyard located on the south slopes of the Rattlesnake Mountains in Washington's Yakima Valley, this Mourvdre showcases the grape's affinity for dramatic diurnal temperature shifts. Winemaker Ryan Crane utilizes low-intervention techniques, including partial whole-cluster fermentation and aging in neutral French oak, to preserve the raw, wild character of the fruit. The terroir's unique elevation allows the late-ripening Mourvdre to develop complex savory notes of cured meat, white pepper, and dried herbs, balanced by vibrant acidity and structured tannins that pay homage to the classic expressions of the southern Rhne and Bandol.
