Sourced from the esteemed Lonesome Spring Ranch in Washington's Yakima Valley, this Grenache is a testament to the unique terroir shaped by the ancient Missoula Floods. The vineyard features steep, south-facing slopes with sandy loam and gravelly soils that absorb the desert heat of the day, while the cool night winds cascading from the Cascade Mountains preserve the grape's natural acidity. Winemaker Ryan Crane utilizes low-intervention techniques, often incorporating whole-cluster fermentation and aging in neutral French oak or concrete vessels. This minimalist approach coaxes out the grape's ethereal, high-toned red fruit character, complex white pepper spice, and distinct mineral undertones, reflecting a style that bridges the gap between classic Rhône elegance and New World fruit intensity.

Kerloo Cellars blev grundlagt i 2007 af vinmageren Ryan Crane i Washington States berømte Walla Walla Valley. Her fremstiller vinhuset håndværksvine med udpræget terroirpræg, som hylder de ypperste vinmarker i Pacific Northwest. Filosofien bygger på minimal intervention, afdæmpet brug af egetræ og spontangæring med naturlig gær, hvor Crane stræber efter at fremhæve den rene, levende frugtkarakter fra anerkendte parceller i Columbia Valley og Yakima Valley.
