Crafted by Kilikanoon, 'The Parable' Shiraz is a profound expression of South Australia's exceptional Shiraz heritage, particularly drawing from the unique terroir of the Clare Valley. The name itself evokes a storytelling tradition, reflecting how each vintage tells a unique story of the season, soil, and vine. Sourced from select low-yielding vineyards, this wine benefits from the region's classic warm days and cool nights, alongside complex soils of clay, loam, and broken slate. The winemaking process focuses on traditional basket pressing and maturation in a mix of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads. This meticulous approach coaxes out a dark, brooding profile rich with black fruits, dark chocolate, and complex spice, balanced by the seamless, structural tannins that define Kilikanoon's premium reds.
