The Clare Valley's warm days and cool nights, influenced by refreshing breezes, allow the Shiraz grapes to develop intense flavor concentration while retaining natural acidity. Traditionally vinified and matured in seasoned and new French oak hogsheads, the Exodus Shiraz is crafted to showcase the dark fruit profile, savory complexity, and structured, velvety tannins characteristic of the estate's premium red wines.

Kilikanoon blev grundlagt i 1997 af vinmageren Kevin Mitchell og ligger i den naturskønne Clare Valley i South Australia. Vingården henter sine druer fra historiske, lavtydende gamle vinstokke fordelt over en række forskellige mikroklimaer og jordbundstyper, og huset er dedikeret til at skabe vine med enestående kraft, præcision og regional autenticitet. Kilikanoon har opnået stor international anerkendelse for sine dybt koncentrerede, strukturerede rødvine – heriblandt især flagskibene Oracle Shiraz og Prodigal Grenache – side om side med krystalklare, gemmeværdige Clare Valley Riesling-vine.
