The 'Killerman's Run' range is named in honor of Alan Harrison, a legendary local bushman who lived off the grid in a hand-built bark hut in the hills behind the Kilikanoon property during the mid-20th century. Affectionately known to locals as 'Killerman', he was a self-sufficient character who forged his own path, much like the spirit of this wine. Crafted from select vineyards in the Clare Valley of South Australia, this Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the region's signature cool-climate elegance combined with rich fruit concentration. The wine is traditionally vinified and matured in a combination of French oak hogsheads, resulting in a structured, complex red that beautifully mirrors the rugged yet soulful landscape of its origin.

Founded in 1997 by winemaker Kevin Mitchell, Kilikanoon is nestled in the picturesque Clare Valley of South Australia, operating from a historic property in Penwortham. The winery is celebrated for its meticulous, terroir-driven approach, sourcing fruit from diverse microclimates and ancient, ungrafted vines to craft wines of immense depth and character. Kilikanoon is particularly renowned for its powerful yet elegant Shiraz expressions, such as the flagship Oracle Shiraz and Covenant Shiraz, alongside exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, and crisp Clare Valley Rieslings. This dedication to expressing regional identity has earned the estate international acclaim as one of Australia's premier boutique wineries of the modern era.
