The name 'Killerman's Run' is steeped in local Clare Valley folklore, paying homage to Alan Harrison, a legendary local bushman affectionately known as 'Killerman'. In the mid-20th century, Harrison lived a completely self-sufficient lifestyle in a hand-built iron shack in the hills behind what is now the Kilikanoon cellar door, foraging, hunting, and crafting his own provisions. This Riesling captures that rugged, independent spirit, sourced from select vineyards across South Australia's premier cool-climate regions, primarily the Clare Valley. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve its intense natural acidity and vibrant fruit profile, the wine is celebrated for its classic Australian Riesling character—driven by bright citrus, mineral tension, and a crisp, dry finish.
