The name 'Killerman's Run' pays homage to Alan Harrison, a legendary local bushman who lived a self-sufficient lifestyle in a simple dirt-floored shack in the hills behind the Kilikanoon property during the mid-20th century. Known to the community as 'Killerman', he grew his own produce, hunted, and crafted his own wild wines. This Shiraz captures his rugged, independent spirit and connection to the Clare Valley landscape. Sourced from premium vineyards across the region, the wine is crafted using traditional techniques, including fermentation in open-top fermenters and aging in seasoned French oak hogsheads, resulting in a classic Clare Valley Shiraz that balances rich, dark fruit flavors with elegant structure and savory complexity.
