The Oracle Shiraz is Kilikanoon's crown jewel, representing the pinnacle of Clare Valley winemaking. Sourced from select, low-yielding old vine vineyards planted along the golden hillsides of Leasingham, this wine captures the unique diurnal temperature shifts of the region—where warm daytime sun gives way to crisp, cool nights. This dramatic climate allows the Shiraz grapes to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness while retaining a vibrant, defining acidity. Traditionally crafted using basket presses and aged for up to two years in premium French oak hogsheads, the Oracle is legendary for its seamless integration of dark plum, licorice, and savory spice. It stands as a testament to the vision of founder Kevin Mitchell, who sought to showcase the profound depth and age-worthy structure of Clare Valley's ancient soils.

Kilikanoon blev grundlagt i 1997 af vinmageren Kevin Mitchell og ligger i den naturskønne Clare Valley i South Australia. Vingården henter sine druer fra historiske, lavtydende gamle vinstokke fordelt over en række forskellige mikroklimaer og jordbundstyper, og huset er dedikeret til at skabe vine med enestående kraft, præcision og regional autenticitet. Kilikanoon har opnået stor international anerkendelse for sine dybt koncentrerede, strukturerede rødvine – heriblandt især flagskibene Oracle Shiraz og Prodigal Grenache – side om side med krystalklare, gemmeværdige Clare Valley Riesling-vine.
