The Parable Shiraz is a masterful expression of Clare Valley's unique terroir, where the region's warm days and cool, crisp nights yield fruit of exceptional balance and intensity. Sourced primarily from low-yielding vineyards in the Watervale sub-region, this wine pays homage to the traditional art of storytelling and the lessons of the land. The grapes are carefully fermented in traditional open-toppers before undergoing maturation in a selection of fine French oak hogsheads. This process coaxes out the deep, dark fruit profiles and structured tannins that define Kilikanoon's signature style, resulting in a Shiraz that is both powerful and remarkably poised, carrying a legacy of craftsmanship in every bottle.

Kilikanoon blev grundlagt i 1997 af vinmageren Kevin Mitchell og ligger i den naturskønne Clare Valley i South Australia. Vingården henter sine druer fra historiske, lavtydende gamle vinstokke fordelt over en række forskellige mikroklimaer og jordbundstyper, og huset er dedikeret til at skabe vine med enestående kraft, præcision og regional autenticitet. Kilikanoon har opnået stor international anerkendelse for sine dybt koncentrerede, strukturerede rødvine – heriblandt især flagskibene Oracle Shiraz og Prodigal Grenache – side om side med krystalklare, gemmeværdige Clare Valley Riesling-vine.
