Kilikanoon's Reserve Shiraz is a masterful expression of the unique terroir of South Australia's Clare Valley. Sourced from select, low-yielding vineyard parcels, this wine benefits from the region's distinctive diurnal temperature shifts, where warm days are followed by cool evening breezes that descend from the surrounding hills. This microclimate allows the fruit to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness while preserving vital natural acidity. Crafted using traditional open-top fermenters and basket pressing, the wine is matured in premium French oak barrels to integrate its robust structure. It reflects a heritage of meticulous viticulture, capturing the dark fruit intensity, savory complexity, and refined tannins characteristic of the estate's finest vineyard sites.

Kilikanoon blev grundlagt i 1997 af vinmageren Kevin Mitchell og ligger i den naturskønne Clare Valley i South Australia. Vingården henter sine druer fra historiske, lavtydende gamle vinstokke fordelt over en række forskellige mikroklimaer og jordbundstyper, og huset er dedikeret til at skabe vine med enestående kraft, præcision og regional autenticitet. Kilikanoon har opnået stor international anerkendelse for sine dybt koncentrerede, strukturerede rødvine – heriblandt især flagskibene Oracle Shiraz og Prodigal Grenache – side om side med krystalklare, gemmeværdige Clare Valley Riesling-vine.
