Kilikanoon's Revelation Shiraz represents the pinnacle of the estate's winemaking philosophy, a rare and majestic expression of Clare Valley's unique terroir. Sourced from select parcels of ancient, low-yielding Shiraz vines planted in the region's prized red soils over limestone, this wine is crafted only in exceptional vintages. The Clare Valley's diurnal temperature variation—with warm daytime sun followed by cool, crisp nights—allows the grapes to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness while retaining a vibrant, natural acidity. In the cellar, traditional techniques such as open-top fermentation and basket pressing are employed to gently extract the deep, concentrated flavors of dark berries, licorice, and complex spice. The wine is then matured in fine French oak hogsheads, seamlessly integrating structured tannins with opulent fruit.
