Kilikanoon's 'M' Shiraz represents a compelling regional exploration by the acclaimed Clare Valley estate, venturing south to the historic, maritime-influenced vineyards of McLaren Vale. The 'M' in the name proudly signifies this origin, celebrating a terroir defined by ancient soils and cooling gulf breezes. While Kilikanoon is famous for its Clare Valley power, this cuvée allows the winemakers to craft a distinct expression of Shiraz—one that captures McLaren Vale's signature opulence, generous dark fruit character, and velvety texture. Matured carefully in seasoned French oak hogsheads, the wine seamlessly marries rich notes of dark chocolate, plum, and warm spices with a refined structural backbone, offering a beautifully balanced tribute to one of South Australia's most iconic red wine regions.

Kilikanoon blev grundlagt i 1997 af vinmageren Kevin Mitchell og ligger i den naturskønne Clare Valley i South Australia. Vingården henter sine druer fra historiske, lavtydende gamle vinstokke fordelt over en række forskellige mikroklimaer og jordbundstyper, og huset er dedikeret til at skabe vine med enestående kraft, præcision og regional autenticitet. Kilikanoon har opnået stor international anerkendelse for sine dybt koncentrerede, strukturerede rødvine – heriblandt især flagskibene Oracle Shiraz og Prodigal Grenache – side om side med krystalklare, gemmeværdige Clare Valley Riesling-vine.
