Named in honor of Count Silverio de Baguer, a visionary 19th-century Spanish diplomat who established modern winemaking standards at Dobrovo Castle, the Bagueri Superior range represents the pinnacle of Klet Brda's craft. This Sivi Pinot (Pinot Grigio) is crafted in the traditional 'Ramato' style, utilizing brief skin contact to extract a distinctive coppery-pink hue and a rich, textured mouthfeel. The grapes are sourced from steep, sun-drenched terraced vineyards rooted in 'opoka'—a local mineral-rich soil composed of marl and sandstone. Benefiting from the unique microclimate where cool Alpine winds meet warm Adriatic breezes, the wine is partially fermented and matured in oak barrels, resulting in a complex, structured expression that beautifully revives historical regional traditions.
