Named in honor of Count Silverio de Baguer, a Spanish nobleman who revolutionized local winemaking at Dobrovo Castle in the late 19th century, the Bagueri Zero Dosage represents the pinnacle of Klet Brda's sparkling wine craftsmanship. Produced using the traditional method (metoda klasična), this bone-dry sparkling wine is crafted from grapes grown on the steep, terraced slopes of Goriška Brda. Here, the unique 'opoka' soil—a mineral-rich flysch of marl and sandstone—imparts a distinctive saline minerality to the vines. Benefiting from the dual influence of warm Adriatic breezes and cool Alpine winds, the grapes retain a vibrant, electric acidity. The wine undergoes extended aging on its lees in the winery's historic cellars, developing sophisticated autolytic character without the addition of a sweet dosage.
