Hailing from the sun-drenched, terraced hills of Goriška Brda in Primorska, Slovenia, this white blend is a beautiful marriage of international elegance and local character. The 'Family Vineyards' label celebrates the collaborative spirit of hundreds of local families who have tended these steep slopes for generations. Grown in 'opoka'—the region's signature nutrient-poor, mineral-rich marl and sandstone soil—the grapes benefit from a unique microclimate where cool Alpine winds clash with warm Adriatic breezes. In this blend, Chardonnay provides a solid, rounded structure with notes of ripe golden apple and stone fruit, while the indigenous Malvasija (Malvazija Istarska) injects a lively aromatic lift of white flowers, citrus zest, and a hint of bitter almond on the finish. Vinified primarily in stainless steel to preserve its pristine fruit character, this wine captures the fresh, mineral-driven essence of Slovenian Primorska.

Established in 1957 as a cooperative uniting local winegrowing families, Klet Brda is the leading wine producer in the picturesque Goriška Brda region of western Slovenia, situated between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea.
