Krasno Orange is a tribute to the steep, terraced vineyards surrounding the high-altitude village of Krasno in the Goriška Brda region of Slovenia. This expressive orange wine is crafted using the ancient, traditional method of prolonged skin contact (maceration) for white grapes, a practice deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of this cross-border region. Grown on the signature 'opoka' (marl) soils, the grapes benefit from a unique microclimate where alpine breezes meet Mediterranean warmth. The skin-contact process coaxes out a striking amber-copper hue, structured yet approachable tannins, and a complex aromatic profile of dried orange peel, wild herbs, and ripe stone fruits, offering a captivating sensory journey into Slovenia's historic winemaking traditions.
