Torre de Ona, situated in the picturesque village of Paganos within the Rioja Alavesa subregion, represents a distinct and modern chapter in the history of the legendary La Rioja Alta, S.A. family, who acquired the estate in 1995. The Club de Cosecheros (Harvesters' Club) bottling is a highly exclusive release, celebrating the traditional Spanish custom of barrel-sharing among friends and dedicated patrons. Crafted predominantly from Tempranillo grown in clay-limestone soils at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria, this wine benefits from a unique microclimate that imparts a signature freshness and elegant structure. Aged in a meticulous selection of French and American oak casks, it beautifully balances the vibrant, dark fruit character of Alavesa with the refined, spicy complexity that defines the region's historic winemaking legacy.

La Rioja Alta, S.A. blev grundlagt i 1890 af fem visionære baskiske og riojanske familier i Haros historiske stationskvarter, Barrio de la Estación, og fremstår i dag som et af de mest urokkelige pejlemærker for klassisk vinfremstilling i Rioja.
