Established in 1816 on the rocky coast of Islay, Lagavulin is famous for its exceptionally slow distillation in pear-shaped stills and heavy peat profile. This special 11-year-old expression strikes a perfect balance between the vibrant intensity of youth and the complex depth of maturity. Depending on the specific batch release, it is often finished in unique vessels like Guinness beer casks or intensely charred oak barrels.
