This iconic spirit is crafted using soft water from the Kilbride Stream and barley dried over damp peat hand-cut from the distillery's own Glenmachrie peat moss, which imparts its signature notes of iodine, seaweed, and cold hearth smoke. Aged for a minimum of ten years in seasoned ex-bourbon barrels, the spirit marries intense peat reek with a surprising undercurrent of vanilla sweetness.
