This specific release celebrates Hunter's fierce guardianship of the Kilbride Stream, the distillery's essential water source, which he secured after a legendary legal battle. Fully matured in vintage ex-bourbon barrels, this rare expression showcases the magical alchemy of three decades of maturation on the damp, salty shores of Islay. It marries Laphroaig's signature medicinal, peat-smoke character with profound layers of tropical fruit, rich vanilla, and warm oak spices, representing the pinnacle of traditional floor-malting and slow distillation.

Laphroaig blev grundlagt i 1815 af brødrene Donald og Alexander Johnston på den rå sydkyst af Isle of Islay og regnes i dag for et af Skotlands mest ikoniske og karakterfulde single malt-destillerier.
