✨ Technical Specifications
Finca Las Moras broke traditional winemaking boundaries with their 'Dadá' line, named after the early 20th-century Dadaist art movement that championed irreverence and the subversion of classical rules. Dadá 8 Chocolat is a sensory-driven red wine crafted in San Juan, Argentina, where the high-altitude desert climate provides intense sun exposure and cool night breezes. Rather than focusing on rigid varietal typicity, this wine is designed to showcase a luscious, chocolate-forward profile. This distinctive character is achieved by aging a blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon with specially selected, heavy-toast American oak, which infuses the wine with rich notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, and sweet spices, backed by soft, velvety tannins.
🍾 About the Producer
Established in the 1990s in San Juan, Argentina, Finca Las Moras emerged as an essential pioneer in reshaping the region's viticultural landscape across the Tulum, Zonda, and Pedernal Valleys. Now part of the Grupo Peñaflor family, the winery takes its name from the native blackberry trees that frame its high-altitude vineyards tucked against the Andes Mountains. Finca Las Moras is celebrated for its innovative and sustainable approach to winemaking, focusing heavily on unlocking the regional potential of Syrah alongside classic Argentine staples like Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and aromatic whites such as Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. From the accessible and fruit-driven Intis line to complex, terroir-focused reserves, their wines showcase the intense sunshine, mineral-rich soils, and vibrant fruit purity characteristic of San Juan.
