✨ Technical Specifications
Finca Las Moras's 'Pink is in the Air' is a whimsical and expressive rosé that captures the vibrant, sun-drenched spirit of Argentina's San Juan province. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Tulum Valley, where intense desert sunlight is tempered by cool Andean nights, this wine is crafted to be fresh, aromatic, and highly approachable. The playful name and packaging reflect the winery's innovative approach to making wine engaging and accessible. Utilizing gentle pressing of grapes to extract a delicate pink hue, the juice is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright red fruit character, floral aromas, and crisp, refreshing acidity. It stands as a testament to San Juan's ability to produce incredibly lively and modern rosés outside of Argentina's traditional heavy red styles.
🍾 About the Producer
Established in the 1990s in San Juan, Argentina, Finca Las Moras emerged as an essential pioneer in reshaping the region's viticultural landscape across the Tulum, Zonda, and Pedernal Valleys. Now part of the Grupo Peñaflor family, the winery takes its name from the native blackberry trees that frame its high-altitude vineyards tucked against the Andes Mountains. Finca Las Moras is celebrated for its innovative and sustainable approach to winemaking, focusing heavily on unlocking the regional potential of Syrah alongside classic Argentine staples like Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and aromatic whites such as Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. From the accessible and fruit-driven Intis line to complex, terroir-focused reserves, their wines showcase the intense sunshine, mineral-rich soils, and vibrant fruit purity characteristic of San Juan.
