The winery's name itself pays homage to the wild blackberry trees ('moras') that grow throughout the vineyards, hinting at the lush, dark fruit profile found within the bottle. Sourced from select vineyards in the Tulum Valley, where intense desert sunlight is tempered by cool alpine breezes from the Andes, this Malbec is crafted to showcase both power and elegance. The grapes undergo careful fermentation followed by approximately 12 months of aging in French and American oak barrels, which imparts subtle notes of vanilla, smoke, and sweet spice to the rich plum and blackberry core. Established in the 1990s in San Juan, Argentina, Finca Las Moras emerged as an essential pioneer in reshaping the region's viticultural landscape across the Tulum, Zonda, and Pedernal Valleys.
