Unlike most rosé Champagnes that are made by blending red and white wines, Laurent-Perrier utilizes the traditional saignée (maceration) method, allowing the skins of 100% Pinot Noir grapes to remain in contact with the juice for 48 to 72 hours to extract its iconic salmon-pink color and intense aromatic profile. Established in 1812 by André Michel Pierlot in Tours-sur-Marne, Laurent-Perrier grew into one of Champagne's preeminent family-owned houses under the visionary stewardship of Bernard de Nonancourt.
