Established in 1812, the house of Laurent-Perrier rose to global prominence under the visionary leadership of Bernard de Nonancourt. In 1968, he defied convention by launching Cuvée Rosé, a pioneering maceration rosé in an era when blended rosés dominated. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from ten prestigious Grand Crus in the Montagne de Reims, including Bouzy and Ambonnay, this Champagne utilizes the traditional saignée method. The grapes undergo a cold maceration of 48 to 72 hours to extract its iconic salmon-pink hue and intense red fruit aromas. The 'Metal Robe' edition pays homage to this heritage, dressing the historic bottle—inspired by hand-blown flasks from the reign of King Henri IV—in an intricate, reusable metal lace jacket that reflects the wine's elegance and craftsmanship.
