Hailing from the cool-climate Coonawarra region of South Australia, Lindemans Limestone Ridge is a legendary expression of the classic Australian Shiraz-Cabernet blend. The wine takes its name from the unique geological formation of the Limestone Ridge vineyard, first planted in 1965, where a thin capping of rich, red terra rossa soil sits directly atop a deep bed of ancient limestone. This distinctive terroir imparts a signature mineral drive and elegant structure to the wine. Historically, this bottling has represented the pinnacle of Coonawarra's blending tradition, marrying the plush, spicy black fruit of Shiraz with the structured, mint-infused cassis character of Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in a combination of French and American oak, it is celebrated for its seamless balance, complexity, and remarkable longevity.

Founded in 1843 by Dr. Henry Lindeman in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Lindemans is one of Australia's oldest and most pioneering wine estates. Dr. Lindeman initially planted his first vines at his 'Cawarra' property, establishing a philosophy of crafting approachable, high-quality wines designed to bring joy to everyday life. Over the generations, the winery expanded its footprint into South Australia's premium cool-climate regions, most notably Coonawarra, where it produces iconic, structured reds like the Limestone Ridge Shiraz Cabernet and St George Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, Lindemans is celebrated globally for both its historic, cellar-worthy single-vineyard releases and its highly popular, fruit-forward Bin Series, maintaining a legacy of quality and accessibility.
