✨ wine.spec_sheet

This exceptional Premier Cru white Burgundy arises from an exclusive partnership established in 1986 between Maison Louis Jadot and the historic Domaine du Duc de Magenta. The 'Clos de la Chapelle' is a prized monopole vineyard situated within the renowned Morgeot climat of Chassagne-Montrachet, taking its name from the ancient chapel that stands adjacent to the vines. The terroir here is characterized by heavy clay and limestone soils, which impart a signature power, broad texture, and deep mineral intensity to the wine. Vinified and matured with meticulous care in oak barrels from Jadot's own Cadus cooperage, this wine beautifully balances rich stone fruit flavors, toasted brioche notes, and a vibrant, lingering acidity that reflects the nobility of its origin.
